Steve Blalock, the general manager of Mid-State Seed, LLC, of Marshall, MO, oversees all corporate operations for the seed-processing company, which was formed in 2012 through a merger of Mid-State Seed, Inc., and MFA, Incorporated, a growers’ cooperative. Taking a hands-on approach to management, Steve Blalock is present at Mid-State’s central facility every day to evaluate the efficiency of processing activities at the plant.

Outside of his work with Mid-State Seed, Stephen Blalock has been an active supporter of the local Salt Fork YMCA in Marshall, MO. He currently teaches a spinning class at the community center, and he has earned a Salt Fork YMCA Volunteer Award every year since 2012.
