After 30 successful years in the real estate business and over 6 million dollars is sales last year, the secret to Steve Dykstra’s success is passion. A passion for the people of West Michigan; a passion for the landscape of West Mi; and maybe most of all, a passion for the home buying process.

The son of a residential real estate developer here in Grand Rapids, Steve has been living and breathing the business his whole life. Like his father, Steve has a passion for the beautiful landscape of West Michigan and a vested interest in making sure land is developed properly. This interest would lead him to his first role in real estate when he bought his first new Duplex at the young age of 19. Steve continued to buy more properties and was a partner as a residential builder. He would eventually obtain his real estate license and 23 years later still be an industry leader in the Rockford market.

When you ask Steve’s clients what makes him such an incredible asset, you hear time and time again that Steve does whatever it takes to help his clients throughout the entire buying and selling process. Whether it’s creative smart marketing, shoveling sidewalks or leveraging his contacts with local agencies and authorities to help clients build and develop their properties. A Grand Rapids native, Steve and his wife Yvonne have been married for 31 years and are proud parents to four children. A devoted family man, you can find Steve enjoying his time off with his family on Silver Lake in Mears, MI. fishing, boating,hiking the dunes and playing cards late into the evening. Steve is also passionate about his faith and loves ministering to those less fortunate here and abroad.
