Steve Trsta

As the President of Atlas Construction Company Inc. from 1974 to 2010, Steven Testa supervised the continuous growth and positive reputation of the Columbus, Ohio-based enterprise. Now in business for more than 70 years, the family-run company completes projects on behalf of developers as well as public organizations working to redevelop damaged thoroughfares in the Columbus metropolitan area. Testa demonstrated expertise in the short term and long term through leadership of day-to-day transactions as well as projects and initiatives that required considerable planning. Throughout more than three decades as the head of the company, Steven Testa crafted a sustainable operations growth initiative and maintained close relations with returning customers in both the private and public sectors. Prior to embarking on his career in construction administration, Steven Testa acted as Staff Sergeant and Aerospace Ground Equipment Repairman with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After completing two years of honorable service, he enrolled at The Ohio State University and joined the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce in 1973. Since retiring from his position with Atlas Construction, Steven Testa has focused on philanthropic endeavors, volunteering for and donating to groups including Nationwide Children’s Hospital and A Special Wish Foundation, Inc. He remains an active member of his Columbus community, both professional and spiritual, and engages with his faith through Zion Christian Fellowship. In his spare time, Testa enjoys traveling to California’s wine country and skiing in Europe.
