I'm a bit of journeyman operator having spent time in Higher Education, the US Navy, and various other public and private enterprises including journalism, college radio, and even some volunteer theatre work.

What's currenty putting food on the table and a roof over my head (with much help from the lovely better half, natch) is a job with the University of Florida Department of Housing and Residence Education.

I like to tell people I am on my fourth tour of duty with my current employer and every day with "The Shop" is an interesting one.

When I'm not "on the clock" I have a variety of interests ... some of which I plan to give further play here ... as time goes on.
