Stuart is a committed practitioner of ethical visual storytelling meant to make the invisible visible. He approaches journalism with the historical, multifaceted sensibilities of cultural anthropology and human geography.

The year 2020 sees him re-immersed in vital landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, his original stomping grounds. Pandemic aside, he's still leveraging experiences over many years as a trilingual globe-trotter, river guide, human rights reporter, salmon surveyor, documentarian, beekeeper, teacher, and environmental justice advocate.

Stuart welcomes collaborations on a number of fronts, and is ready to use skills in map-making, photography, videography, data design, research, and more to tell the next story.

Until then he's likely foraging, cooking, drumming, cycling, or plotting the next sourdough experiment.
