Stuart Bolton

London United Kingdom

I'm a future corporate lawyer, awaiting the start of my training contract at a large international firm. I have a 2.1 from the University of Bath, and commendations on the GDL and LPC, with electives in International Mergers & Acquisitions, International Capital Markets and International Arbitration.

I'm confident, ambitious, happy and a genuine people person. I play just any sport (to varying levels of competence!), I'm passionate about politics and business, and am thoroughly interested in technology and travel. I am genuinely commercially astute and creative, I possess very strong communication and team working skills, and am exceptionally driven, resilient and focused. So far in my life I've been a commodity broker, worked in restructuring, in technology with Apple, and been a football coach at the University of Bath. Additionally, amongst other things, I’m a pianist and I've travelled around the world. At university I was the Chair of a political society and the Chair of the Sports Association. My dissertation at Bath investigated the sociopsychological skills of highly successful people; I interviewed worldwide business leaders, international sportsmen and a household name politician. I have also reached the finals of prestigious negotiating and mooting competitions. Each and every opportunity I have had has given me chances to develop which will be of great benefit to my firm once I am practising.

In the distant future aside from law, I would like to travel around Africa, watch an entire Lions tour whilst driving around the country, and set up an education based charity. I'm a proud Preston North End fan, my favourite group is Mumford & Sons, and my ideal day would be a pub lunch and a few beers or a bottle of wine with my friends.
