Hi and welcome to my page, Let me jump right in. I am a young 62 divorced women who is starting anew. and I started a blog more than two years ago. you can view it here http://www.Converscity.wordpress.com. It is a blog about working online and now it is making a change. Sue studio and art galleries is the name of this new game.

It still will be about conversation. But not as much as before. it will be about The artwork we do at the paint and sips and later some of the portrait work will take center stage there.

I am kind of Artsy fartsy so the portrait work will have much digital work in it. But I am going to start with the painting parties first. The photo equipment is expensive oh my it is! so that will be a work in progress. . I have the bare minimum to work with. Continuous lights the camera (crop sensor) and the space. that will do for now.

Do you know I am excited about the paint and sip parties. who does not like to have a good time and learn something at the same time. I will also have a calendar of the dates for open parties and reserved parties. I did a post a time ago talking about not quitting your day job to start your work, and did I take some of my own advise. No! , I did quit my job to do what I love to do. I did prepare some for that leap of faith. yes I saved a little money and I live close to the bone off my pension.

So the blog must change I am opening a brick and mortar business. and it is all about the arts. or the two that I love most.

Painting and photography. I had planned on it just being all about the portrait.But you know I have found that I really really like painting!! and the parties gives me a social out let!

My mind is not on any obstacles but the goals I have set on my path. I find it all interesting and exciting. the cost for the parties is simple 35.00 bucks that is all. your bring what you want to drink and eat I supply the rest. simple right? oh yes for the host with the reserved parties she or he is free, since they will be bring all the drink and food goodies. and I do the clean up.
