Before being rescued by his owner, Lysa Cooper, Sugar Ray proved his resiliency by escaping the deadly clutches of some of the most fearsome Pit bulls known to man. He once ventured out on to a frozen lake, only to fall in and be saved by his other owner Eric Nies. Upon emerging from the frigid water he showed no signs of slowing down. He has spent weeks on end in the hot desert, drinking nothing but green juice, while continuing to climb mountains and run countless miles a day. Sugar Ray is a world-class traveler and a physical specimen. He is truth, love and light. “My whole life, all I have known is to love, lick, and honor my fellow brothers and sisters. I have descended from the universal light to bestow upon all creatures a message of hope, strength, courage, determination and peace.
