37 years old, and still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

What I love most about my work is it rarely feels like work. I’ve never gotten so senior that I can’t look under the hood of things to understand some new twist or quirk for myself.

Sure, I love ads as much as the next CMO but the marketing universe also rubs up against big swirls of adjacent universes: semiotics, measurement, insights, popular culture.

Most of all, I love finding hidden stories, and dusting them off. Framing them, retelling them in new language. Hopefully making them useful to someone. These stories hide everywhere: in corners of newspapers, or buried in a coal mine of forgotten data.

Every now and then, I speak and write things too, because it allows me to meet with brands and people who may want to collaborate on the same things.
