Hello! I've been a blogger since 2002, a parent since 2005, and a reluctant Ninjago expert since 2012. After over a decade in marketing communications -- my last position was with the Omni Group -- I became a freelancer in 2010. I'm currently an e-commerce copywriter (recent clients include Jaali Bean and Oakley), social media wrangler, and daily blogger/weekly columnist at The Stir and Work It, Mom.

I've also been a contributing writer for ParentDish, Edelman, Kimberly-Clark, ClubMom, Gather.com, Daily Grommet, Lemondrop, and more. I was voted one of Babble's Top Twitter Moms of 2011, and a Babble Top 100 Mom Blog in 2012.

I live in Eugene, Oregon with my family, where I spend my days wrangling two rambunctious boys, furiously typing into my overheated laptop, and ignoring the laundry.
