Hire me

Hello, and welcome to my thrilling bio! (Bio thrills not actually guaranteed.)

WHAT I DO:
I create words that resonate, social media that's worth following, and the kind of marketing that gets results.

MY EXPERIENCE:
I spent over a decade in software marketing (my last position was with the Omni Group) before I took the freelance leap in 2010 and have been working as a copywriter/brand-wrangler/you-name-it-er ever since.

I've been a daily writer and weekly columnist at The Stir, and I've worked with brands like Jaali Bean, Oakley, Purple Door Communications, and Sway Group to create website content, press releases, corporate blogs, marketing communications, expert articles, and much more.

In the past I've also been a contributing writer for Cherokee USA, TakePart, Work It, Mom!, ParentDish, Edelman, Kimberly-Clark, ClubMom, Gather.com, Daily Grommet, Lemondrop, and more. (If you enjoy outdated accolades, perhaps you would like to know that I was voted one of Babble's Top Twitter Moms of 2011, and a Babble Top 100 Mom Blog in 2012!)

MY PASSION:
I most enjoy the challenge of bringing brands to life with engaging, authentic content. People don't want impersonal sales pitches, they want believable content that's interesting, useful, and meaningful in some way -- and I truly love making that happen.

MY PERSONAL LIFE:
I live in Eugene, Oregon with my family, where I spend my time writing, volunteering, parenting two tween boys (SO. MUCH. FORTNITE), and doing my level best to stay on top of Netflix's increasingly overwhelming number of entertainment offerings.
