People depend on earth resources. We need innovative approaches to communicate and understand the science behind how the Earth works.
My goal is to develop computational decision support tools and tangible objects that inform communities about the science around them. I strive to create opportunities for dialogue that is supported by sound science and engages people with the places that matter to them most.
In my own case, the Salars of the Atacama Desert inspire me every day - It is the place where I learned that science is irrevelant until people understand and care about the results.
