Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio

Over the course of her career as a medical practitioner and otolaryngology specialist, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio has upheld an unwavering commitment to professional excellence and ethical performance, earning accolades from patients and colleagues alike for her work. After graduating from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in Portland in 1993, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio moved to the Minneapolis, Minnesota, area to continue her clinical training. As a resident in otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota Medical School and its teaching hospital, the Hennepin County Medical Center, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio built solid foundations for her specialized medical practice, which focuses on the treatment of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) ailments for adults and children. Following completion of her formal training, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio returned to Portland and launched Portland Ear Nose & Throat Specialists, through which she provides all manner of diagnostic and treatment services for minor and major otolaryngological conditions. With a specialization in nasal and sinus issues, snoring and sleep apnea, voice and swallowing problems, sinusitis management, airway disorders, adult and pediatric audiology, and head and neck cancer, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio maintains a wide-ranging expertise in otolaryngology, in addition to performing plastic reconstructive surgery. Considered highly knowledgeable in the field of otolaryngology, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio has earned publication in multiple peer-reviewed scholarly journals for her research, including Head & Neck (“Ruptured internal jugular vein: A postoperative complication of modified/selected neck dissection”) and the Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology (“Effect of sleep state on the laryngeal chemoreflex in neonatal piglets”). A longtime member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society, Dr. Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio has most recently completed continuing medical education (CME) coursework through Oakstone Medical Publishing. Dr. Cleland-Zamudio maintains professional affiliation with Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Providence Portland Medical Center, and Portland Adventist Medical Center.
