Education and Communication in Berlin, Germany

My career life began in 1998 in Mannheim, Germany where I trained and worked as a mechanic at Mercedes-Benz for 5 years. During this time, I professionally developed my lifelong passion for music and became a DJ for the award-winning rap-combo Camouflage Baggage. I went on to curate a DVD Soundtrack for a film on the underground movement of train graffiti in Europe, entitled Sweet Dreams, and spun records in South-Germanys Clubs. Music was my segue into the creative world and inspired me to expand my artistic abilities as a graffiti writer and photographer. Having a strong eye for visuals, I pursued a degree in Communication Design in the 2000s. Putting my graphic design and coordination skills to use, I founded the bilingual independent digital magazine LegitMag that featured content on Art, Music, and Sneaker Culture.
For eight+ years I was working and traveling with the sports giant Nike, Inc. Several positions have taken me to Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Dortmund, Vienna, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Dubai, Portland, and other cities. In those Brand Marketing Roles, I have been tasked to create, distribute and evaluate digital communication and event campaigns in Soccer, Running, Basketball, and Lifestyle categories.
My results-driven and focused communications over the years have played integral roles in my team's abilities to meet their marketing objectives and sales targets. Furthermore, my passion for creativity and athletics, combined with my design and musical skills have contributed to the overall look and feel of our brand campaigns.
In early 2017 I made the next career step and started working for Pfizer, Inc - one of the world's premier biopharmaceutical companies. Working from the Berlin office, I became part of the Corporate Affairs department.

Being for over a decade in the marketing and advertising world and becoming a father always made me ask for the next thing full of purpose. As I always had my ear on the streets, I felt the challenge to help out young people in the educational field is appropriate. That led me to the decision to start working as a teacher for Art, Sports, and Ethics for 7th- to 10th graders since 2020.

My general passion for sports motivated me to participate in several running and cycling events all around the globe e.g. Velothon Berlin, Frankfurt-Eschborn Tour, TourDetroit, Berlin Marathon, Lauf zwischen den Meeren, Hood to Coast Relay, Halfmarathon Berlin, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Mannheim.
