I am aspiring to be a Speech Pathologist. As long as I change someone's life, even just one life, I will have acheived what I was put on this earth to do. To help people.
Choosing this path was not easy or in any way short-lived. After years of exploring my possible futures, with everything from Mathematics to Music Therapy, I know I have finally found it.
It all began with a simple Japanese 1001 my freshman year of College here at the University of Georgia. I found something I didn't think I would find while taking required courses: A love for language. Communicating. Relating to people different than myself in a new way.
I heard about Speech Pathology and quickly fell in love. I can teach and help someone who has trouble communicating. With my newly acquired minor in Japanese, I hope that one day I will be helping people find a way to communicate and share new ideas effectively.
