"Let no-one come to you without leaving you better and happier"

That's the way I like to live my life and do things

In our culture we tend to ask what people DO (to pay the bills) as one of our first questions. I'd far rather we asked who or what people LOVE, or their favourite Dickens character, or their favourite toy as a child, or about the first time they heard Sgt. Pepper, wouldn't you?

I have four published books:

All That You Touch - about how Pink Floyd (inadvertently) wrote the soundtrack to my life. You can order it here

Gender - a "genre smash with post-modern vigour: thriller, fantasy, sci-fi and social commentary" which has been described as "the most important novel since 'Crime and Punishment' ". You can order it here

Stories of Increasing Length - an eclectic mix of short stories. You can order it here

Stories of Decreasing length - another eclectic mix of short stories. You can order it here

AND COMING VERY SOON - 'The SPC' - a novel about a society that is so secret that you don't know that you're in it. Until the day you find out ...

Lover of Pink Floyd, Leicester Tigers, John Keats, Charles Dickens, Shakespeare, science-fiction, cycling (especially the Tour de France), prime numbers, 'Twin Peaks' (not the crap Season 3), 'Fleabag', 'The West Wing', the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence, French movies, Paris, cheese, Pastis, Pilsner beer, chess

Favourite book is 'The Catcher in the Rye', poem is 'Ode to a Nightingale', movies are '2001: A Space Odyssey' and 'Blade Runner', city is Paris, album is 'The Dark Side of the Moon' (obviously), bookshop is 'Shakespeare & Company' (in Paris), composer is Mozart, painter is Picasso, Director is Woody Allen, cyclist is Peter Sagan, cheeses are comte, manchego (home of Don Quixote), provolone and halloumi.
