I would describe myself as a Modern Renaissance Woman with broad intellectual interests in a myriad of disciplines; a multi-dimensional portrait of a physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and professional Planetary Citizen. In the second decade of the New Millennium, I shall transition into the role of Elder Stateswoman; and while I feel prepared to face the challenges of life as a single, mature, articulate, and artistic black woman living in the South, I yet hope and pray that Wisdom will be my guide as my journey continues...since manual dexterity, visual acuity, physical endurance, and my "girlish figure" are only memories. I received my BA degree in Organizational Management at Ashford University in April of last year…almost 40 years to the day after graduating from high school. I kept going and I'm now pursuing an MS degree in Instructional Design & Technology at Walden University. As a life-long learner, I plan to continue my studies at Michigan State University in their hybrid Ph.D. program in Educational Psychology & Educational Technology to fully prepare myself for an "Encore Career" as a 21st Century Educator & Learning Theorist.
