Tad Martin
CEO/Co-founder of Collective[i].
Prior to founding Collective[i], I headed operations at Overstock.com as the company's COO / GMM. I joined Overstock as one of the company's early employees. During my tenure with the company, Overstock grew from $70M in revenue to over $800M and became a publicly traded company in the process (NASDAQ: OSTK).
Before Overstock, I worked for Gear.com (funded by Amazon.com), which we grew from an early stage startup to the largest sporting goods closeout e-commerce website before its sale to Overstock.com in 2000. In addition, I was a member of the Olympic bid committee responsible for bringing the 2002 Olympic Winter Games to Salt Lake City.
I earned a Six Sigma Black Belt and applied the methodology to operations at Overstock. I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Utah.
