Tahir Register is a young 24 year old recent college graduate from Newark, NJ truly motivated by God and inspiration. With music being a center point of his life Register truly is unlike anyone you’ve ever experienced. Tahir has written, produced, mastered, arranged, and recorded over 30 original compositions. Some of which you can find on Youtube with over 1,000 views. You can even purchase on any digital retailer his first record for sale; “Your Time Will Come” a record he wrote and produced as affirmation for himself. Register splits his time by recording original works and many covers which you can find on Soundcloud. He’s been featured on local radio stations in New Jersey, and in LA on Rhona Bennetts Perspectives Corner. One of his greatest achievements in covers earned him over 20,000 plays from many different Countries around the world.
Register has also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with, Rah Digga, RedMan, Miki Howard, Cissy Huston, Melba Moore, India Arie and Mariah Carey (VH1 Save The Music) to name a few, and he spent time singing chorus/background for Tony Nominated Elisabeth Withers in her song “Dream”. Most recently Register was featured as a V.I.P security guard in Newarks own Faith Evans new music video “I Deserve It” featuring the legendary Missy Elliott directed by Derek Blanks. Register has also been featured on actress and daughter of Diana Ross, Tracee Ellis Ross’s website as an honorary winner of the “For The Love Of…” contest, sited for his masterful work in cinematography. In 2013 he was nominated for Three Business Awards during National Small Business Week for his efforts in photography. His freelance business, Tahir Coleman Photographi took home the Create Change Award. His latest achievement is The B.L.A.C.K Media, a blog he started to uplift the Afrikan American image, it was noticed by Grammy Award Winning India Arie, Grammy Nominated Anthony David, critically acclaimed singer Algebra Blessett, Grammy Award Winning Erica Campbell, eOne Music Nashville, and GoSickle in support of Sickle Cell Anemia.
