Tara Busch

Tara is part of the collective I Speak Machine with film maker & designer, Maf Lewis. She is known for her vocally driven electronica, her "heavy yet etherial" remixes, live film scores & her music blog, AnalogSuicide.com

In 2009, Tara released her debut album "Pilfershire Lane" on Tummy Touch records, It was also released as a limited edition box set which sold out online in 48 hours. She created official remixes for artists such as Annie Lennox, Gazelle Twin, Bat For Lashes, Polly Scattergood, iamamiwhoami & John Foxx.

Tara recreated a score for live performance for the 1954 short film, "The Red Balloon", which was performed at MoogFest 2011. She was also commissioned to score & perform live to picture the silent film "Suspense" for the 2011 Bird's Eye View Film Festival with Imogen Heap. In 2013, she contributed music to The Woverine, recreating a segment from The Carpenter's "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft".

2013 also saw Tara & I Speak Machine perform their British Arts Council Funded sci-fi/ horror film "The Silence" The score was first performed live to great acclaim at Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit . See the trailer here. The soundtrack will be released this fall on Lex Records.

The latter half of 2014 will see I Speak Machine performing the UK premiere of "The Silence" and two new horror/ sci-fi shorts "Gagglebox" & "There's Someone in the House Next Door" at Purcell Room in London, September 21st. and in Los Angeles at Beyond Fest.

Tara is creating the score for the graphic novel I Speak Machine, in collaboration with Maf Lewis & comic book legend Tommy Lee Edwards.
