Tara cut her teeth in the media business as a newspaper reporter. In 2008, she cleaned her ink-blackened fingertips and dove into the internet full-time. The social web is more connected to traditional media than we think, and Tara thinks this is really cool.
Her writing and editing has appeared in all kinds of places over the last 10+ years, giving her a solid foundation in various applications of the written word. Those places include Muni Diaries, a niche media start-up; online curriculum at the Academy of Art University; educational materials for National Geographic Education; and articles and blog posts for Wired.com, Maximum Rocknroll, Pawesome, and Weddingbee, among others.
