Tasheik aka (Stafford Warren) as far back as he can remember; has always been involved with HIP HOP. From carrying records for Grandmaster Flash from day one. To Having #1 Rap group in The BX 83 & 84. Rapping his way to a Lee Strasberg Acting Scholarship in 87. Model and Hip Hop Mgr in 96. NMOH Director 2007. Author, Entrepreneur 2010. Tasheik has a deep history rooted within the hip-hop culture. He started as a roadie and acquaintance of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five Emcees in the mid-70s. His brother EZ Mike was the seventh member of the group. In the 80s, as a member of the rap group The Fortunate Four, Tasheik had the number-one rap group in the Bronx for two straight years in all the local city contests. In 1987, as a solo artist, he entered into auditions for the NYCHA and The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute's city-wide annual acting scholarship competition and won the top scholarship that year. After doing some acting and modeling for several years, he returned to the realm of hip-hop. He started Devane Mgt. in 1996, an artist management group established to assist young artists in putting together press kits and learning basic music business skills. In 2000, that company merged with Real Live Entertainment where he became Vice President. He then became the Vice President and Co-Founder of Hip-Hop Wax Inc., a nonprofit organization, founded and formed to ensure the preservation of the hip-hop culture through education, entertainment and arts. Tasheik was also the main architect of one of the leading proposals for a hip-hop wax museum in the Bronx. In 2007, they merged with The National Museum of Hip-Hop. He started Flyhood Music and Media Management in 2010 and partnered in 2012 to start GrownManangement Inc.
