Taylor Scheer

The Style Lab opened its doors on September 29, 2012 in an effort to bring modern, cutting-edge men's clothing and accessories to Tulsa. Locally owned and operated by Tulsa native Taylor Scheer, The Style Lab offers designer options such as Nudie Jean Co, 7 For All Mankind, Ben Sherman, Huyton Union, Benson NY, Benny Flores Collection, Over Under Clothing, Richer Poorer Socks, Herschel Supply Co Bags, HoldFast Leather Goods, and Jack Black Skin Care.

Also unique to the specialty store is the method in which clothing and accessories are selected, "All items in the store
are hand-selected through a focus group and by clothing representatives for the Tulsa area, and only one size of each item is available in store in an effort to limit the visibility of the item. By doing so, you won’t see anyone else in town with the products you purchase in your size," said owner Taylor Scheer. In response to why Scheer opened the men's boutique, his answer is simple, "I opened The Style Lab out of frustration. I was tired of walking in to stores in Tulsa and everything looking the same. In an effort to find something unique, I would travel to Dallas to find the brands and
collection of products that are now offered at The Style Lab. There's a huge hole in Tulsa when it comes to men's clothing, and The Style Lab is here to fill that need."
