After four years of college, four years of medical school, and one year traveling the world learning how to be a medical journalist, I finally, FINALLY, have that MD! I will be your friendly neighborhood dermatologist, ready to offer skin care advice and support whenever you need it. I am currently completing my intern year in internal medicine in sunny California where I call home, and then I will be transplanted to Manhattan for three years to take on the world of dermatology.

I created this blog during my third year of medical school as a creative outlet and a chance to share with you my medical musings. I write about anything and everything health related - health news, new research findings, weird facts about your body you wish you didn't know about, medical school, residency, how to use social media, and anything else you or I want to explore. That includes posts from time to time about my life - new milestones, frustrations, all the ups and downs that come with evolving into a full-fledged physician.

Most of all, I just want people to be excited about medicine. This is not going to be a boring science blog - no, we are going to stir things up while having some fun. And if you, my dear reader, learn something medical along the way, then I am one content physician blogger.
