Ted Rufo

Harmony, RI

Based in Massachusetts, Ted Rufo possesses considerable experience in landscaping, institutional cleaning, and other activities integral to maintaining indoor and outdoor facilities. In the last few years, he has served as the groundskeeper for McCauley Harmony Estates in Harmony, Rhode Island. In this role, Ted Rufo handles tree care, lawn maintenance, and landscaping duties for the three-acre property. He performs maintenance tasks and repairs for the estate and for the three-stall barn.

Thanks to his affinity with animals, Ted Rufo particularly enjoys being able to provide care for horses and other animals. As the former groundskeeper for Knobby Hill Farms in Millis, he cared for two horses and three llamas, and also fulfilled his landscaping duties. Mr. Rufo previously took care of seven horses as a stable hand with 2-H Farm in Weston. These positions gave him the opportunity to utilize his skills outdoors in the environment that he loves.

In previous years, Ted Rufo gained experience in institutional cleaning while working at Dover-Sherborn School and Fay School in Dover and Southborough, respectively. In these positions, he took on facility maintenance and also oversaw the hygiene of the schools' common areas. In addition, he performed exterior power washing and window cleaning for new apartment buildings in the area.

A graduate of Framingham High School, Ted Rufo earned his certificate in welding from Keefe Technical and Vocational School. He has several interests outside his professional duties, including outdoor activities, Western books, music, and sports. Mr. Rufo plays an active role in his church and is a member of the Marian Community in Holliston.
