Ted Venners

As a partner with The Prometheus Group, Ted Venners applies his extensive experience in the energy industry to guide development of clean fuel sourcing in an international arena. A veteran of such notable projects as the National Coal Council and the Heritage Foundation Transition Committee for Federal Mineral Leasing, Venners has retained a focus on efficient and environmentally conscious practices over the course of more than three decades in the industry.

As a real estate professional working in the Black Hills region of South Dakota, Ted Venners was at the forefront of environmental conservation techniques in housing development. Following his early executive work as an owner of Gillette, Wyoming's Fort Union coal mine, Venners drew on his expertise in the fossil fuel industry to coordinate more than $300 million in funding for the development of "green" fuel technology.

In his current work with The Prometheus Group, Ted Venners leverages his background in energy technology to foster professional relations between the U.S., China, and several other international business destinations. A native of Germany, Venners' focus on global liaising includes plans for a North American university promoting cross-cultural fluency between the U.S. and China.
