Terry Duesterhoeft

An executive leader in the health care and medical device industry, Terry Duesterhoeft speaks frequently at professional conferences, where he shares his experience from more than 20 years in the industry. Recently, he founded a consulting company known as Teralin Health, which employs technological advances to streamline care delivery services between health care providers and their patients. Terry Duesterhoeft's areas of expertise include innovating through product development, general management, strategic marketing, and proficiency with technologies such as telehealth, digital health, mobility,imaging and electronic health records (EHR).

Mr. Duesterhoeft prepared for his career by graduating with an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and receiving his BSME from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, he achieved Design for Six Sigma and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications during his tenure at GE, Terry Duesterhoeft also finished other executive training programs, including the GE Management Development Course.

Terry Duesterhoeft launched his career in the health care industry as a Project Leader for Digital Detector Systems at GE Medical Systems Global X-ray, where he worked on commercialization of direct digitization of X-ray images. He then joined GE Ultrasound as a LOGIQ 700 HW Engineering Manager and Global Marketing Manager.

After approximately a decade with GE, Terry Duesterhoeft accepted a position as Vice President of Strategic Marketing at ZONARE Medical Systems. His duties in this role included the development of the company's compact ultrasound offerings, including development of business plans, recruitment of the core team, and overall product development. His marketing campaign twice earned him the Medical Marketer of the Year award. In 2003, he returned to Minnesota as the Vice President of Marketing for Vasamed, a diagnostics company specializing in non-invasive hemodynamics diagnostics. Under his leadership, Vasamed acquired Sorba, an impedance cardiography business. That year, Mr. Duesterhoeft also became the Chief Marketing Officer of XStor Medical Systems.

The global leader in the telehealth industry hired Terry Duesterhoeft in 2006 as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. He spent three years heading the company's marketing and engineering efforts before receiving promotion to General Manager
