Terry Herring

With more than 24 years of in-depth experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Terry Herring currently serves as President of Mission Pharmacal Company. Prior to joining Mission Pharmacal in January of 2010, Terry Herring spent over a decade at inVentiv Health, originally as the National Business Director of Sales and Marketing, then he was quickly promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Sales. In 2007, he assumed the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer at the firm. A respected figure in his field, Herring was recognized by PharmaVOICE 100 for his commitment to his employees, company, and community in 2007 and 2008.

Terry Herring earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating magna cum laude from The Citadel - The Military College of South Carolina in 1986. He went on to pursue his studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University, eventually earning a Master of Business Administration in Pharmaceutical Studies from Pacific Western University in 1994. His quest for knowledge and education did not stop there. Herring obtained a Graduate Certificate in Multimedia Advanced Technology from Mercer University School of Engineering in 1996, then acquired a Graduate Certificate in International Marketing from Duke University and London Business School in 1997.

When not running a large pharmaceutical company, Terry Herring loves speed-orientated activities. His interest has resulted in the ownership of a 1970 Chevy Corvette, Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and Cobalt Boat. He lives with his wife and two children in Texas.
