I'm a political science student with a passion for journalism and a fan of evocative storytelling and investigative reporting.

I've worked to integrate those elements into my work as the news editor of The Daily Gamecock, the nationally ranked student newspaper of the University of South Carolina, and as an intern at The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier, the state's largest daily. And once, Yo-Yo Ma won me Carl Kassel's voice on Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me.

I'm also an avid social media user, but my focus is on full-length writing. Samples of both are found below.
