The Darkened City

Inspired by Film Noirs and Political Thrillers such as ‘Double Indeminity' (1944) 'LA Confidential' (1997) 'Sin City' (2005) 'The Ghost' (2009) 'State of Play' (2009) ‘The Darkened City’ is a theatrical performance which presents a city full of corruption, bribery, violence, sex and where no one however innocent they may seem is ever entirely trust-worthy. Told through tweets, emails photos and text messages and Art Exhibition ‘The Darkened City’ took place in a fictional city where the rules are there to be broken, corruption is rife, and everyone is out for their own personal gain. 'The Darkend City' first premiered in September 2011 and told the story of how innooent Photographer Harry Marshall got trapped in a deadly web of corruption and violence.
