A creative entrepreneur, Theanna Zika began her business career in 1999, after practicing as a dental hygienist throughout St. Louis. Theanna had the idea to start a temporary hygiene service and provide hygiene services to a dental office when one of their regular hygienists could not be there. Within four years, Theanna Zika had built a working relationship with numerous area dentists, who regularly utilized her services. Dentists appreciated Theanna Zika’s professional manner and the familiarity of a regular temp hygienist. By 2003, her client list consisted of more than 50 dental offices. Theanna had now been "bitten by the entrepreneurial bug" and would never again revert back to working for someone else...

Theanna Zika attended the University of Central Arkansas as a premed student. Her outstanding high school GPA and ACT scores garnered Theanna Zika an academic scholarship. Along with excellence in academics, Theanna was All District and All Conference in basketball. She was also one of the top mile runners in Track in the state of Arkansas as a 14 year old. She was allowed to compete in the State Track Meet by Special Invitation only and won the Bronze medal in the mile run. Ms. Zika later transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where she continued to take premed courses. After completing the necessary work, Theanna Zika applied to the highly prestigious and competitive Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.
