The Chairman of Spoken Words (Frank Thomas Williams) released his debut CD ' Social Ills' (SI) in 2009. The Chairman is an author, an advocate, an activist, and an educator; in addition to being a community leader, a motivational speaker, a mentor and a Spoken Words Artist. The Chairman of Spoken Words has performed from the Bay Area to Austin, Atlanta, LA, and Minneapolis to Chicago. He has performed at venues such as The Java House, The Poetic Groove, Holla-Back, Kimball’s Carnival, Linen Life, Anna’s Jazz Island, Jefferies Inner Circle, Listen & Be Heard, The Air Lounge, Dalva’s, the Rockit Room, Radisson Hotel, Yoshis & Club 6 to The Green Mill in Chicago.
