Anthropologist, Consultant, and Blogger in Ville de Québec, Québec, Canada

I am an anthropologist living in Quebec city, Canada. I specialize in native studies and have written my master's memoir about the international indigenous healing movement Healing Our Spirit Worldwide.

My fields of interest include health and healing, relations and reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples, cultural revival movements, pop culture and geek culture.

In 2012, I founded The Geek Anthropologist, a community blog where geekiness, science-fiction, and all things geek are analysed through the perspective of sociocultural anthropology. Definitions of geek identity, the representation of ethnic groups in science-fiction and gender norms in geek culture are some of the many topics explored by our team.

I wish to pursue doctoral research on international indigenous mouvements and indigenous healing, health and well-being.

I am available for work in the field of research, social marketing and blogging.
