Software Developer at IVIA.

Computer Science student at Universidade de Fortaleza - UNIFOR ( http://www.unifor.br ). I used to work there as a Java Web Developer full-time. During that time i used to help the professors of Java Object-Oriented Programming and Java Web Development classes.

My last personal project was to create an 3D robot hand with Java and OpenGL. But instead i asked and was allowed by our teacher to do it in JavaScript and WebGL. Here's the result: thiagoponte.orgfree.com

Why do it in JavaScript while the rest of the class did it in Java? Well i'm studying JavaScript right now, and i'm really enjoying learning it. So it was bigger challenge for me and i managed to overcome it.

Worked 6 months at 10up.com as a Web Engineer. There i used Backbone.js and jQuery to control the flow of the applications. Learned a lot of WordPress and a bit of PHP along the way.

Currently working with Java, JSF, EJB, JPA, WebSphere, DB2 at Banco do Nordeste - BNB.

I speak Portuguese, English and a little bit of French.
