Thierry Saint-Paul

Spotted as photographer by war reporter Germain Chambost in 1994, Thierry was official photographer for the French Air and Space Academy, correspondent for the magazine Science & Vie, before practicing for 10 years in a mountain environment for shooting extreme sports.

Discovered in 2002 by Canon Japan, headliner of Tokyo URBANLENZ with composer Holeg Spies, Thierry has exhibited his cinematic work in Japan several times, but also in places like Centre Pompidou (Beaubourg), the National Library of France (mk2), Liz-N-Val's MuseuM (NYC), alternative cultural centers of Geneva, Bern, Barcelona etc.

He was awarded twice at the International Freeride Film Festival for his work with the pro-skier Julien Maguy and some of the world's best freeriders (2008 & 2010).

Today, Thierry works as an indie filmmaker, cinematographer and colorist for Shemie Reut (executive produced by Gus Van Sant), colorist for C.M. Downs (American Maniacs), post-producer for Serge Korber...

He's also Tech consultant for Cinema, TV & Web, professor at e-medias Institut and Color teacher at Toulouse University (ESAV 2013/2014).
