I am an Event Planner with Blue Phoenix Events. I love making events special and memorable and transforming them into an experience. As a Virgo, I love making order out of chaos, using Gantt charts, and color coding just about anything!

I am also a graphic designer and photographer living in Minnesota with my wife and our four children. Specializing in print and digital technologies. Recently I converted my design business to include an eCommerce retail site to sell my creative designs as unique gifts.

Like an apprentice to a master, I started learning everything I could about graphic design from the print industry, in a way that I wouldn’t learn in a school…on the job, with real clients, real problems and I learned real solutions.

With over 25 years of experience in the graphic design industry, I love all things creative! I'll geek out over fonts, colors, logo elements, and white space!

Using the latest tools in Adobe Creative Cloud, QuarkXpress, Procreate, and a myriad of other tools (both Mac, PC, and Online), I run my own freelance photo studio & design company and Etsy store out of my home.

Having worked with organizations such as Best Buy, Wells Fargo, All Parks Alliance for Change, Northcountry Cooperative Foundation, Minnesota Women's Consortium, ISES-Minneapolis, and Girl Scouts River Valleys, I've been able to work with both large-scale companies and smaller-scale non-profits on a wide range of print, digital and social media.

I am the "Duke of Protocol" when it comes to workflows, policies, and procedures. I can adhere to strict guidelines (when needed) and always keep an eye out for ways to improve procedures or make workflows more efficient and communicate those ideas through thoughtful research, documentation, and communication with management and development teams.

In the past few years, I have had the pleasure of learning the 508 standards of Accessibility in regard to digital files for people with disabilities.

In my spare time, I enjoy being creative by knitting, sewing, scrapbooking, origami, and leatherworking (just to name a few) or whatever lets me just "create" for the sake of creating. I am passionate about learning new things and am always up for a challenge.
