I'm a British-born, Anglo-Chinese-American ― currently located in East-Idaho's stretch of the Rocky Mountain range.

Expanding knowledge-accessibility, advancing education & research, and inspiring wholistic individual development and independence, are my core vocational passions. I've spent several recent years living in Silicon Valley working in Google's Research division, prior to which I held varied professional roles in higher education (BYU-Idaho & Yale), the US Air Force Reserves, and a handful of small-medium business ventures. Accessibility, neurodiversity, and disability inclusion have become increasingly central values in life since my eldest son was diagnosed with autism as a toddler ― and more recently for myself, striving to adjust to and manage a functional life within the vexing limits of chronic illness (ME/CFS🔗) ― both understatedly epic journeys we're learning much from daily.

I'm unconventional yet orthodox, unafraid of ambiguity or paradox, and generally much more curious than ambitious. I've lived, worked, and studied across the U.S. and around the globe (Europe, Asia); I'm energized when pursuing new experiences, but naturally it is my three children and spiritual-grounding in life that inform my broad interests and defined focus.

In other dimensions, I enjoy: supporting Liverpool Football Club (of my native county Merseyside, England), World Rugby, and cranking up (to +11!) classic/hard rock tunes – although I very much enjoy music and dance therapy across genres. I love palm trees, warm coasts and water, lush mountains, sunshine, the medicine of nature – and ultimately the warm company of light-hearted (but not light-minded) people at any age or stage along life's journey. There's something to be learned, gleaned, and appreciated from everyone – so hopefully I can one-day learn your story too ;)
