Timothy Booth is multifaceted individual as a musician, entrepreneur, naturalist and Qiqong practitioner. Tim is deeply dedicated to the arts and the environment. He has been on the Canadian music scene for over 30 years, performing with a wide array of groups in the Montreal and Toronto areas, including Orchestra London, Hamilton Symphony Orchestra, Montréal Symphony Orchestra; and with such artists as Aretha Franklin, Pavarotti, Yes, John Pizzarelli, George Burns, Chris De Burgh to name just a few. Tim also played such musicals as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Showboat, Ragtime, Miss Saigon, and Beauty and the Beast. In 2006, he created the Toronto Art Orchestra a jazz orchestra devoted to playing the greatest jazz master’s works.

Timothy is also founder of ArtsFunding.ca and JazzOvation.org (previously TheJazzBox.ca). Tim has worked with crowdfunding networks for over 5 years and is a member of the National Crowd Funding Association. Through TheJazzBox.ca, Tim has a proven track record for promoting artists using social media.

Timothy Booth has been practicing Qigong for over 20 years. He currently instructs private and group Qigong classes in Lanark and Ottawa. Timothy Booth integrally embodies this practice (body, mind, and spirit) and augments it with modern research on its health benefits while honouring the respected traditions of proper Tai Chi and Qigong practice. He has studied with some of the greatest western Masters of Qigong such as Sifu Michael Rinaldini, Ken Cohen, and Eric Reynolds, direct student of Dr. John Painter. He also holds Senior Level certification in Baguazhang-from Emerge Internal Arts Tai Chi and Meditation Centre.
