I’ve always been fond of the trademark self-referential comment often made by Spider-Man, "just another service provided by your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!".
In my own way, I wanted to begin doing some service for my community.
As someone that has grown in his career, with the support of friends and family (at the cost of some after-hours IT consulting and support), I began seeing that the world I now work in is all too often shrouded from view in comparison to other daily mainstream news. Something that I hope to begin changing by sharing the news and views I find online.
The vast majority of people online today need to be aware of the dangers in this new world as, like it or not, they’re living in it. And your friendly neighbourhood InfoSec guy (and others like him) are here to help.
