Started Goldcrest Cleaning Ltd (www.goldcrestcleaning.com), a commercial cleaning company based in Warwick, England, in October 1993. Having built the company up to a size where it can be run and managed by the senior management, I decided to buy some land near Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa, and make wine. So in June 2006 my wife, Vaughan, and I purchased 12 hectares of north and south facing land 6 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean and planted some vines.
