Tim Shea

I've always been curious about the world and about the people in it - past, present, and future. Learning about culture, history, economics, technology, geography, politics, - I eat them up. I read the Economist cover-to-cover every week for fun. Travelling and seeing how other places tick might be my favorite thing to do. When not exploring the world, I enjoy trying foods from faraway places and immersive books and movies.

I also enjoy making functional things. As a kid in New Hampshire, I built elaborate water systems in the sandbox. Today I build websites. It's thrilling to see something I helped make be used by so many people.

At heart I'm an introvert, with a small number of really close friends. However, I enjoy meeting interesting people, hearing their stories, and sharing a laugh.

Finally, I'm very lucky to live in Brooklyn with my lovely wife Sara and two kittens.
