Hello!

My name is Tirzah Chesky, and I'm a Senior at the University of Kansas. It took me a couple tries to get my major right, but I will be graduating with a B.A. in Religious Studies with a minor in Journalism this May. Though I'm originally from tiny Halstead, Kansas, I love the vibrant city and people of Lawrence. KU was actually the only school I applied to, a risk that thankfully worked out pretty well for me.

During my time here, I have had the privledge of working for the Moore Reading room, which is the Religious Studies department's library and at the Undergraduate Advising Center as a Peer Advisor. Currently, I am the Senior Peer Advisor for the 2017-2018 team. My two years on the team have been the best sort of learning experience, and I look forward to continuing helping students start to map their own path here at KU. Please come see us! You're what makes every day so great!

When I'm not on campus in class or working, you can find me at Clinton Lake roaming the trails, sifting through piles of research at Java Break, or home listening to podcasts or reading (if you need suggestions, I got you). You may also find me boxing at the Rec. Just depends on the day!
