Tara-Nicholle Nelson, Esq.

My raison d’etre is to demystify all things real estate via old media (my TV appearances, books, syndicated columns and talks) and new media (mostly as the Consumer Educator + PR/Marketing Manager for Trulia.com). I also blog at Aol.'s WalletPop and on my own site, REThink Real Estate, on real estate, mortgage and behavioral finance (aka money mindset matters).

I've been called a consumer content/PR savant, as my work regularly appears in the NY Times, WSJ, USA Today, the HuffingtonPost, on the Aol. and Yahoo! home pages and on every major and cable news network, as well as on mass media outlets like E! News and Extra!.

In my 3 spare minutes per week, I have existential confabs with my pug/Japanese Chin mix dogs Aiko and Sumiko (collectively known as "the Girls"), run, practice yoga and buy rainbow kale at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market in San Francisco. (Fun fact: my pals call me the Consignment Store Commando.)

Oh, yeah - I really liked school. I hold a B.A. and an M.A. in Psychology from the California State University, and a Juris Doctorate from the UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
