Bassam Bokhowa is from Bahrain. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Information Technology. Bassam is also Microsoft Certified both as Systems Engineer and Trainer, with extensive IT infrastructure solutions design, build, and administration experience.
Bassam is an HEA UK Fellow and also holds certificates in Tertiary Teaching and Learning, ITIL v3, and ICDL v5.
Bassam's work experience includes his work at Batelco as IT Projects Manager, managing his own IT consultancy firm, and academic lecturing for 4 years at the Arab Open University (Bahrain branch) and at the Bahrain Polytechnic since 2009 where he is currently Senior Tutor and a previous member of the Research Committee, Ethics Subcommittee, and currently the Microsoft IT Academy administrator.
Bassam is the author of "Open Source Software: Comparing Productivity", and has traveled and trained extensively within Europe and the USA. He enjoys authoring e-learning multimedia and introducing content through web-based platforms such as Moodle, YouTube, and Wordpress.
