A Canadian living in Kyiv, Ukraine, Todd entered academia from the private sector in 2014. His research uses mixed methods to explore readiness for digitalized learning and work toward Industry 4.0, Society 5.0 and other visions for the productive application of intelligent, cyber-physical systems. He is completing the final-submission stage of a PhD at the School of Media, Technology University Dublin, Ireland. His current publications conceptualise and empirically explore digitalisation and related human readiness factors. He functions as a Sessional Instructor in courses addressing the technologies and psychologies of digital learning at Ontario Tech University, Canada, and a principal researcher for a Latvian project exploring digitalised learning for educational transformation.
