Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have a natural love for the great outdoors. Hiking, hunting and fishing are some of my favorite pastimes. An adventurer at heart, I also enjoy motorcycling, boating, scuba, mountain climbing, sky diving, writing and traveling.

In 1989, I joined the Oregon Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer. I have worked full-time (Active Duty) for the past 11 years. I returned from a tour of duty in Iraq where I volunteered to deploy with the 3-116th Cavalry.

In 1993, while conducting explosives training with the 1249th Combat Engineers in the Oregon Coast Range , I witnessed three creatures commonly known as Bigfoot. This encounter has compelled me to research these amazing creatures with the intent of understanding them better and establishing their existence in hopes of protecting their species.

Today I live aboard a 42-foot motor yacht named the Jadoo Shikari (Hindu for "Mystery Hunter") on Hayden Island in the Columbia River.
