I am an interdisciplinary earth and environmental scientist. My research interests are focused on but not limited to: all aspects of terrestrial dust; aeolian processes, sediments and landforms; atmospheric aerosols; playas and evaporites; arid land science and management; earth system- atmosphere relationships; air quality / air pollution; and trace element geochemistry.
I teach university-level classes on: weather; climate; earth science; atmospheric chemistry and physics; the geography of arid lands; paleoclimatology; and the intersection of art and the environment.
