I joined Second Life in November 2008, after one of those periods where real life takes you on a ride down crazy street. My usual hobbies weren't enough to distract me; it had become clear it was time to shake things up a bit and find something new.

I'd heard about virtual worlds and tried Second Life nearly a year before, but didn't stay - at that point I just didn't "get" what SL was about. The second time around I made the decision to stick with it and I'm very glad I did; I have met many friendly, fun people from all over the world, discovered new creative outlets, and learned many new skills.

When logged inworld, I am usually with my SL husband Bock McMillan; we are often out exploring various regions on the Second Life grid. There are so many fun and interesting places to visit. The sheer creativity that gets poured into SL is both amazing and endless.

I am often dancing at Zeus Gay Club, one of Second Life's most popular venues for LGBT residents and friends. If I'm not at Zeus, I might be found sailing the seas of Second Life with Bock in one of several boats I own. We also enjoy flying to the many destinations on the grid; I currently have hangar space at SL New Horizons Airport where I am usually tinkering with various planes, helicopters, and one of my big favorites: my hot air balloon. My friends all joke about my vast collection of planes boats, cars, and motorcycles, speculating wildly on how many I have. I admit nothing. :-D

Almost by accident I discovered I had an unsuspected knack for photography. I immediately began taking photographs in SL and teaching myself Photoshop. While I can't claim to be a master of either, I am always willing to share what I've learned and look forward to learning more. People have been kind enough to be both encouraging and complimentary about my pictures. (If you're one of them, thank you!) This has led me to some attempts at posemaking, doing some (rudimentary) building with the tools in SL, and texturing.

In SL, I am about 2 meters tall, have brown hair and blue eyes. The rest changes without notice.
