Social Media is my passion. And I don’t mean spending hours on Facebook or other network. My passion is helping other people, and specifically business, use Social Media properly. So I created Media Barker (yes, it used to be called Cornerstone Solutions of NY, but that was a LONG name).

On the personal side of me, I am very active in the Elmira Rotary Club and will officially be President July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. With my lovely wife of 15 years, Shawnie Brown, we also own a Martial Arts school (American Family Karate), and a custom embroidery business (EZ Threadz). And to top it off we are also very active with Higher Hope Church.

And just because we don’t like to be bored, we also have two beautiful girls, 12 & 9.

Other life highlights people might not know about.me include: I am an Eagle Scout. I traveled Europe for 7 years because both of my parents were in the military (I graduated from Bitburg American High School in Germany). I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, Munich Germany, and the University of Texas San Antonio. I started the Alpha Phi Omega chapter at UTSA (still going strong). I saved a strangers life with CPR (if you don’t knowFirst Aid/CPR, learn it).
