Tom Hartley

Sheffield

Tom Hartley is a freelance writer of African history and current affairs. Having completed a Masters in International History at the University of Sheffield in 2012, he is particularly interested in promoting Africa to a wider audience.

Tom's special research interest is the Great Lakes Region, in particular post-genocide Rwanda. His academic essays can be found on academia.edu. He is also associated with the think tank African Peoples Advocacy, and Ruhanga Development School, a charity-based primary and secondary education establishment in South-West Uganda.
